The Dead! Ghost! Future<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, San Francisco Bay Area-based duo The Singer and the Songwriter (Rachel Garcia and Thu Tran) stopped by the <em>AG<\/em> offices to talk about their collaborative songwriting process and perform some beautiful music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The album is full of resonant acoustic poetry\u2014evocative images, imaginative guitar accompaniment, and stunning vocals. The songs feel familiar, but the stories they tell are fresh and urgent\u2014reflective of today\u2019s political and social division, with glimmers of hope for a better tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this Session, Garcia and Tran perform \u201cRest Stop Angels,\u201d \u201cDrowsy Driver,\u201d and \u201cVirginia.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.patreon.com\/posts\/private-lesson-110668889\">Support&nbsp;<em>Acoustic Guitar<\/em>&nbsp;on Patreon<\/a>&nbsp;and get access to&nbsp;an exclusive video lesson with Thu Tran!&nbsp;<\/strong>Tran performs and breaks down his solo guitar composition &#8220;Future.&#8221; It&#8217;s a beautiful piece that employs hybrid picking techniques, pedal tones, and free time.
